Questions
Will it break my current OBS setup?
No. ProLive Kit creates a new profile and a new scene collection. Your existing scenes, settings and stream keys are not changed. Switch back any time from OBS's menu.
What do I need?
OBS Studio 30 or newer on macOS or Windows, and a browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari). OBS has a WebSocket server built in. You only tick one box.
Is my password or stream key sent anywhere?
No. The wizard runs on your computer and talks only to OBS on your computer. We never see your password or keys.
Can I stream to several platforms at the same time?
Yes. ProLive Kit sets up your main platform and shows you how to add the others with the free Aitum Multistream plugin. It also checks whether your internet can handle it.
Does it work for Instagram and TikTok?
Yes, choose the vertical format. These platforms only give stream keys to eligible accounts. Instagram, for example, needs a public professional account with 1,000+ followers. The guide explains each rule.
